A quotation is comparable only when you know what is inside it. Look for the freight itself, origin handling, documentation, terminal charges at both ends, customs clearance, duties and taxes, delivery, and any insurance. Two quotes can differ by twenty per cent on the headline and land in the same place once the omissions are added back.
